Isaiah's 1st Birthday!!!

We went to a friend of the family's sons Birthday this past weekend. Isaiah, who officially turned one on Wednesday, is the cutest little boy. I had such fun taking pictures of all these adorable little kids. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Mackenzie and Jeremy's Engagement Shoot

My first weekend back from maternity leave and I got to shoot a fantastic couple in Greenville, Indiana. Mackenzie and Jeremy have known each other since they were kids and are now getting married this coming September. Their reception will be at the Grand in New Albany, I can't wait!

We did photos at Jeremy's parents home in a beautiful part of Indiana. They brought their gorgeous chocolate lab, a 2 year old puppy named Tank, along for the shoot. He was so full of energy, reminding me of my own two-year old pup.

Here are a few of the pictures from our day. Enjoy!
I just loved this old barn!

I cannot believe that they actually got Tank on the trampoline, he wasn't too sure at first but I am quite impressed with his perseverance. What an awesome dog!!!

Spring Fever

I love the Spring! Taking advantage of some of these beautiful days, we took my nephew to the park. Kyto, my nephew, at the adorable age of two, just loves the adventures of the Jungle Gym. Although he is still quite cautious he did come face to face with the largest slide and conquered it head on or belly side down, however you want to look at it.

BCLP

This weekend I got to shoot the Blind Corn Liquor Pickers, a local Kentucky Bluegrass Band, at Natasha's Cafe' in Lexington. They recently got a new lead singer, Beth Walker. She has such a bluesy, soulful voice that brings on goosebumps. Also the new bass player, Sam Kruer, adds brilliantly to their unique sound. They introduced a few new songs that have been swimming in my head since the show. Check out their website at http://www.blindcorn.com
