Laura and Michael's Wedding!!!

Laura and Michael were high school sweet hearts who got married this past weekend. The wedding was at the Omstead here in Louisville. Being new to the area this was my first wedding at this venue but I can see why it is so popular.

Luckily with this crazy weather we have been having, already in the 90's most days, the wedding was inside in the grand Foyer. It was such a lovely ceremony followed by great food and music. Laura and Mike chose songs dating from the seventies and earier. Billie Holiday (a personal favorite) graced the reception while the guests dined. The song that they danced to was Never My Love by the Associations, pretty cool for a couple in their 20's.

Enjoy a few photographs from their wedding!

Talk about team work.

The father/daughter moments always get to me.

Stephanie and Frank's Wedding!!!

I first worked with Stephanie and Frank on their engagement shoot last fall. We went to Huber's Winery in Indiana and had a blast. I knew I would have a great time at their wedding because they are such a sweet, fun couple.

They got married at the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, which has the most amazing grounds. They picked the perfect time to get married. All the spring flowers were in full bloom and the weather was perfect.

Stephanie was such a beautiful bride, she made it easy to get great shots.

Here are a few from that day.

Gone Wild

I shot the most unique engagement session to date this past weekend. Ashley and Sean, whose wedding is in just a few weeks, decided to have their engagement shoot at the Louisville Zoo. There were so many great places for photographs. The Zoo has different displays set up around the park, my favorite was an old VW Bus.

We finished the shoot up on Sean's Bike. If their wedding is half as fun, I know I will have a great time. Can't wait!!!

Posted below are a few of my favorites.

Kalyn and Ray Tie the Knot!!!

It was a gorgeous spring day. Bright blue skies accompanied by a perfect cool breeze. From start to finish the day went beautifully.

The wedding was held at the Old Stone Inn in Simpsonville. This old bed and breakfast turned restaurant has such charm. Although the wedding was held outside I couldn't help shooting some of the portraits inside, it made for such a unique background.

Kalyn and Ray were such a fun, loving couple. How lucky I was to be part of their day!!!
